Privacy Policy

This explains what Batara Kala collects, why, and what happens to it. It applies to the Batara Kala web application and the automations Kala runs on your behalf.

Account details: your name, email address, and business name, held by our authentication provider (Supabase).

Business profile: whatever you enter to configure Kala — opening hours, services, tone, and any rules you set. Anything you leave blank is treated as unknown, not guessed at.

Gmail data: if you connect Gmail, we read incoming mail to detect enquiries and send replies on your behalf. We request only the minimum Google permissions this requires — read access and send access. We never request permission to delete mail, change settings, or access anything beyond your inbox.

Enquiry and reply content: the messages Kala reads and drafts are stored so you can review what happened in your Activity log.

Billing data: your subscription plan, status, and AI credit usage. We do not store your card details — those are handled entirely by Stripe.

When an enquiry arrives, its content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to classify it and draft a reply, using only the business facts you've configured. Kala never invents a price, a guarantee, or an appointment — those are blocked automatically, and anything it isn't confident about is left for you to review rather than sent.

Supabase — hosts your account and business data.

Google — the Gmail API, used only for the mailbox you explicitly connect.

Anthropic — processes enquiry content to draft replies.

Stripe — processes payments; we never see or store your card details.

Vercel — hosts the application.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It's required for the app to work and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Disconnect Gmail at any time from Integrations — this revokes our access at Google immediately.

Cancel your subscription at any time from Billing.

Ask us to access, correct, or delete your data by emailing the address below.

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page. Continuing to use Batara Kala after a change means you accept the update.
